School are supplementing traditional physical activity with Dance Dance Revolution in more than a few states across the country. Students stand on dance pads, listen to music, and follow the visual prompts on the television screen. Research has shown improvements in heart health and self-esteem in addition to weight loss for students who dance to the video game series. Overall, Dance Dance Revolution is both entertaining and challenging for boys and girls alike & accommodates the video game lifestyle of youth while fighting the couch potato routine of today.
